Having Problems With Your Prep?

If you have having PROBLEMS WITH YOUR BOWEL PREPARATION, please read:

1.If you are experiencing nausea or vomiting with your bowel prep, please stop drinking the solution temporarily. Take a 30 minute break. Keep yourself mobile (do not sit if possible) and resume consumption of the preparation after 30 minutes when the nausea feeling has passed. You still need to drink the entire solution but you can repeat this process until you have completed the preparation. Please remember that the faster you can drink the solution, the better the result of the bowel preparation.

2.If you have no results (bowel movements) one hour after completing the first half of the prep solution please have someone purchase a bottle of Magnesium Citrate (about 10 oz) from any supermarket (no prescription needed). Drink the entire bottle of magnesium solution and follow with 8 oz of water to assist with your bowel cleansing.

3.It is normal to have some sediment after the first half of the bowel preparation. The second half of the solution will clean out the residuals. Therefore, it is very important to finish the second half of the preparation.

The quality of your bowel prep greatly impacts the quality of the colon exam. Please follow the instructions closely.
